On 23rd April 2024, we gathered together for a day filled with learning, networking, and unforgettable moments. Let's take a journey back and relive the magic of this remarkable event. Smartsheet User Group Malaysia event was a 3 hours event that brought together around 50 passionate individuals from various industries. Hosted at AICB Centre of Excellence (ACE) Kuala Lumpur, the event features inspiring keynote speeches by TNB, updates on the latest Smartsheet features, and established meaningful connections with individuals in the business by engaging in strategic networking. We were blessed to have our guests as En. Halil Haron (Lead, Project Management, Property Services Department Tenaga Nasional Berhad) and En. Megat Asyraf Rashad (Head of PMO, Project Management, Property Services Department Tenaga Nasional Berhad) shares their inspiring customer journey. Megat shed light on how TNB’s Property Services Department (PSD) recently adopted Smartsheet for executing end-to-end project management and delivering projects to customers within time and at high quality and safety standards. Since adopting Smartsheet, Megat shared how the team has saved 20% of their time and overall productivity has risen 25% by now having shorter meetings, faster decisions, and enhanced accuracy. Megat also emphasized the pivotal role of Smartsheet’s partner 57Network, who helped their team with the onboarding of Smartsheet for faster adoption. During the event, Vivien Chong from 57Network, also shared how 57Network empowered their customers to adopt Smartsheet, with Chia, Ka & Partners (CKP) increasing in sales and productivity by 30% and Century Software (M) Sdn Bhd saving RM100k annually. Following Megat’s presentation, Vib Bhalla, Sales Engineer at Smartsheet demonstrated how users can make the dashboard more insightful with charts and reports on projects with Smartsheet. Vib also shared with the attendees the latest AI features that have been released in Smartsheet. Personally, as a first-time attendee at this event, I found it instrumental in fostering connections with new individuals, enhancing my soft skills, and bolstering my confidence. Attending the event was a transformative experience for me. From registration to the end of the event, it opened my eyes to new possibilities and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. These insights reinforced my belief in the transformative power of effective work and reminded me of the value of continuous learning and development. 2023 has been a year full of changes and growth. Like a rollercoaster ride, it brought a mix of challenges and lessons that helped shape and transform experiences. As an intern at 57Network, navigating through this whirlwind meant learning from successes and obstacles, ultimately leading to personal and professional growth.
